Information for school librarians or participating teachers:
The student contest is over BUT students can still try Program a Bunny and get a certificate showing that they learned how to use code blocks to program on their own. EcoScienceWorks NSF ITEST project – the group that developed the Maine Explorer software and the EcoScienceWorks Curriculum will send a digital certificate to you for your student if they give you a screenshot of their code and you send it on to us.
If you are not familiar with us you can find information about our project at: www.fbr.org/swksweb/esw.html and learn about Maine Explorer at: www.simbio.com/Maine where you can also register and receive the worksheets and full curriculum if you are interested in using Maine Explorer in your classroom.
In order to be sensitive to student confidentiality, we are asking that the school librarian or any 7th or 8th grade teacher submit student work. You can do this by creating a new account (see button below). You will need to create a username and password and provide some contact information. We will send you an email after we review and activate your account. You will then be able to upload student submissions (screenshots for the Program a Bunny Challenge). You will need to use a unique identifier for all of your students that does not include any personal information.
