Scenario 4: The Program a Bunny Challenge

Find  and open Maine Explorer in your Applications folder. Its icon looks like this  .

You are probably ready to move on to Scenario 4 but feel free to try Scenarios 1 – 3. If you need any help with using Code Blocks, click on the Code Blocks Tutorial button in the upper right corner of the Program a Bunny Lab screen.

Your challenge is to get your bunny to eat all the carrots. When you open Scenario 4 you will notice that the carrots are arranged in a very specific way AND every time you reset the screen the carrots always are arranged the same. The Code Block palette contains a new programming block for you to use in solving this challenge.

So, open Maine Explorer, go to Scenario 4, and solve the Program a Bunny Challenge.

 

Once you have completed the Program a Bunny Challenge make a screenshot of your Code Blocks and send it to us via your school librarian or participating teacher and you will get a certificate acknowledging your programming success.

 

Now you are ready move on to the "Hard Fun" of programming your bunny for the head-to-head contest with the brown bunny in Scenario 7
